The cap that sits right
The whole size range fits inside eight centimetres. One centimetre is already a size — which is why the tape measure is worth it.

| 57–58 cm | 22½–22⅞ | M | 7⅛–7¼ |

How to measure
- Take a tape measure — a piece of string laid against a ruler afterwards does the job too.
- Just above the ears and round the widest point at the back. Not across the forehead, not over the eyebrows.
- Firm, but without pressing in. A finger should not fit underneath.
- Round up. Between two sizes, take the larger: a cap gives very little.
Guess, and you will be one or two centimetres out — and that is exactly one size. It is the easiest return there is to avoid.
Six shapes
If the size is right and the cap still does not sit, it is the shape and not the circumference.
Flat, low crown, short peak. Adds the least — the first cap for a man who has never worn one.
Fuller crown that falls to the back. Balances a narrow or long face; on a round one it looks heavy.
High front, stiff peak. Gives you an outline and forgives no mistake in size.
The smallest and closest-fitting. Discreet under a coat; on a large head it turns tight quickly.
Eight stitched panels meeting at the top. You can see the construction — not a cap for going unnoticed.
Lined, with ear flaps you can pull down. Otherwise the same cuts.
And the cloth
Wool, new wool, tweed, herringbone, corduroy, cotton and linen hold their shape into a third winter. Thin polyester does not.
Which shape and which cloth a cap is made in is in the product details. The label sewn inside always takes priority over a rule of thumb.
Description
Every cap is made to be worn and looked after for years – with an easy fit, breathable cloth, a timeless shape and a finish you can feel the moment you put it on.
Every cap is built to sit naturally, stay breathable and feel comfortable all day – and only improve with wearing. And I stand behind every one: if it doesn't sit the way you hoped, send it back within 30 days. It is as simple as that.

Care
A light brush with a soft brush keeps the cloth fresh and free of dust. For marks: a damp cloth with mild soapy water, then let the cap air dry — never with heat.
Keep the cap on a wooden cap former or in a box that fits when you are not wearing it, so it holds its shape and colour. Always pick it up by the peak, to spare the crown.

How ordering works
Three steps, and the only one that takes a minute is the tape measure. Get the head circumference right and the cap sits right.
Choose your cap
Go through the collection and pick the shape you want: flat caps, newsboy caps, driver caps, ivy caps. Each product page says what the cloth is.
Measure your head in centimetres
A tape measure just above the ears and round the widest point at the back. Between two sizes, take the larger one – a cap gives very little.
Delivery
